28 June, Crete. The warm temperatures in Crete welcomed ADAS&ME consortium to the 7th Plenary meeting organized by the local partner FORTH. The first day started with the parallel workshops of project Use Cases and an interesting presentation about Biomedical signal analysis in driver sleepiness carried out by VTI. It is expected that further research presentations of driver states will be presented in the coming plenary meetings.
The results of mid-term review and communication & dissemination plan update took the centre stage just before the presentation of MS17 “Draft impact assessment framework” and the technical status, data collections, HMI and evaluations of all Use Cases . After the lunch break, WP3 status and WP4 update and approach of the algorithms of sleepiness, visual distraction, rest, stress, thermal fatigue and emotions were presented as well as the market analysis.
The last day started with the presentation of the earclip of DENSO TEN and WP5, WP6 and WP7 were the focus discussions. A final speech of ADAS&ME advisory member Olivier Lenz was very interesting in order to know the users point of view about project developments and the coordinator Anna Anund stressed that ADAS&ME is now in a key stage of the project lifetime. Next plenary meeting will take place in October in Bologna and it will be organized by DUCATI.
